Iran offers condolences to Kazakhstan over deadly mine blast

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kan’ani has offered condolences to the government and people of the friendly and brotherly country of Kazakhstan, especially the bereaved families,after an explosion in a mine in the city of Karaganda killed and wounded a number of miners there, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

A total of 32 miners died as a result of an explosion at the Kostenko coal mine in the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Emergencies of the country reported on Saturday.
