Vijayawada: Former minister Ambati Rambabu blasted Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for making accusations of using adulterated ghee in the preparation of Tirumala laddu and said the CM was making the baseless claims with malicious intent to take revenge on former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and hurt the sentiments of crores of devotees.
Rambabu questioned why the report of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) was issued two months ago and only made public now and why it was released at the Telugu Desam office instead of through official channels. He demanded that Naidu answer all the questions of Jagan Mohan Reddy on this issue. He also challenged the CM and human resources development minister Lokesh if they were willing to take an oath on this matter and respond to the accusations. Rambabu also requested that TTD officials present the facts to the public instead of spreading false information for political gain. He warned that Naidu would face consequences for hurting the beliefs of devotees with his reckless statements.
