Two Arrested for Stealing Bikes in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Bowenpally police arrested two persons for stealing two-wheelers and one for preparing forged registration certificates (RC) and seized 14 vehicles worth `8 lakh and four duplicate RC cards from their possession.

The accused were Razzak Khan, a bike mechanic, car driver Yammala Yohanu and Goriparthi Venkatappayya who runs a DTP outlet in AP, said north zone DCP Rohini Priyadarshini.

Police said Razzak and Yohanu used to recce residential localities between 3 am and 6 am and steal the vehicles. The vehicles were later on sold nline, with

They had been stealing bikes October 2023. They were earlier arrested by the police of Bowenpally, Trimulgherry, Nampally, Jeedimetla and Alwal.

Later they sold the said stolen bikes in OLX to the innocent persons for Rs. 10000/- to 15000 seeking the help of forged papers supplied by Venkatappayya.
