Hyderabad: Experts convened to deliberate on strategies aimed at preserving, conserving, and effectively utilising land resources for the benefit of future generations on the World Environment Day. Hosted by the Institute of Town Planners, India, Telangana Regional Chapter (ITPI- TRC), the event drew attention to the pressing need for sustainable land management practices.
S. Devender Reddy, the director of the Directorate of Town and Country Planning, highlighted the pivotal role played by initiatives such as the ITPI-TRC’s ‘city and environment’ competition, which drew planning students nationwide. Reddy revealed that the winners were officially announced during the seminar Among the notable figures present at the event was Muralidhar Reddy, the secretary of ITPI-TRC.
