India will open their T20 World Cup campaign against Ireland today.
Rohit Sharma-led India are one of the favourites to win the world cup but Ireland should never be underestimated, as in the earlier world cups, whether it be ODI or T20, they have upset the opposition.

Team India has power hitters like Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav and Rishabh Pant who can take the game away from the opposition. The player to be watched out in Ireland is their batter Harry Tector. He had performed well against Afghanistan in their recent series. His highest score of 64 came against India. Bowler Joshua Little had an good IPL season in 2023.
