Stray Dogs Attack Deer in Atmakur, One Dead

Kurnool: A pack of stray dogs attacked a herd of wild deer that had ventured into Mustapally village of Atmakur mandal on Sunday night.

The attack left one deer dead and another severely injured. The remaining three deer managed to escape back into the forest with minor injuries.

Local residents expressed concern about the incident, criticising forest officials for allegedly releasing deer into the forest without proper safeguards. They fear the deer are straying into villages and becoming easy targets for stray dogs.
