Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao ridiculed Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for raising curtains to a new drama, by trying to deceive the people of Delhi, with his hollow promises which he failed to deliver in Telangana. Criticising the Congress’s guarantees in Delhi, he mocked the ruling party’s inability to fulfill assurances in Telangana.
“Where are free electricity and LPG subsidies in Telangana? Who is providing monthly assistance of Rs 2,500 to women or Rs 7,500 under Rythu Bharosa to farmers? Where are the electric scooters for female students or the Rs 5 lakh education insurance? These promises are as hollow as they are unrealistic,” he said.
The BRS working president said the Congress gave grand guarantees in Delhi, though it failed to deliver basic commitments in Telangana. Referring to Revanth Reddy, he dared him to visit Ashoknagar streets and explain to the unemployed youth over their failure to deliver the job promises. He urged Delhi voters to stay vigilant and be cautious about Revanth Reddy’s false promises.
