Hyderabad: Providence Global Centre defeated Aurobindo Pharma Ltd by 76 runs to clinch the CII Telangana Corporate Cricket Premier League title at KLR Cricket Ground, Balapur, Hyderabad, on Friday.
Santosh J’s sensational knock of 208 runs off just 73 balls powered Providence to an imposing total of 281/3 in their 20 overs. Despite a valiant effort, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd fell short, managing 205/7 in their 20 overs.
Santosh was named Player of the Match for his spectacular performance and was also honoured as the Player of the Tournament, having amassed a total of 354 runs.
