Hyderabad: Launching a scathing attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Saturday questioned his ability to erase the name of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao from history, asserting that as long as there was Telangana, there would be KCR.
He said Revanth Reddy was just an “errand boy” who carried slippers for political favours at a time when Chandrashekhar Rao had resigned from his position for the sake of the people of Telangana.
Taking to social media platform X, he criticised Revanth Reddy for lobbying for party tickets while KCR envisioned a State born from struggle and perseverance. Rama Rao recalled that while Reddy wielded guns to silence dissenting voices, KCR risked his life for the dream of Telangana.
He emphasised that despite attempts to destabilise the State, KCR’s vision and dedication made Telangana a beacon of pride. In a sharp rebuke, Rama Rao called Revanth Reddy a “Cheap Minister” and urged him to think again before making such statements.
